Meet Our Staff

Greg McKay, President

Greg was Vice-President Fleet and Purchasing for Wells Fargo where he was in control of 2,200 armored vehicles in 160 branch locations. He was also in charge of 28 maintenance locations which provided service to Wells Fargo vehicles.

Greg purchased Griffin, Inc. from Elon Griffin in October 1994. He and Mr. Griffin had met through Wells Fargo when, as fleet manager, Greg was purchasing armored vehicles from Griffin, Inc.

Greg is an active member of the local Chamber of Commerce, as well as a board member for the Northwest Community College's Workforce Development Council. He is also a member of the Independent Armored Car Operator's Association, the National Armored Car Association and Chief Executive Boards, as well as a member of the Association of the U.S. Army.

Griffin, Inc. had no export sales when Greg purchased the company from Elon Griffin in 1994. Now they are doing business with armored vehicle customers worldwide, as well as diversifying their customer base domestically.

Bill Hurst, International Sales Manager

Upon graduating from the University of Mississippi and Delta State University, Bill went to work for a local truck leasing company. This led to his involvement in the armored truck industry in the early 1970's.

With over 35 years experience in the armored car industry, Bill has developed extensive knowledge of vehicle specifications, ballistic requirements, armored body specification and design, new chassis purchasing, new armor body purchasing, used armor vehicle purchasing, used armored vehicle disposal, land transportation and delivery of new and used vehicles, and insurance and financing of vehicles.
